Instructions
1.  You will need Adobe Reader to view the books (or any program that allows you to view PDF files).  Most computers already have the program installed.  However, if you can't open the files below, get the free Adobe Reader by clicking the icon:
 

2. A few of the larger books have been divided up into smaller sections to save download time.  Click the desired section from the table below.  You can certainly open more than one section at a time.

3. The text of the books is searchable.  Use the search bar in Adobe Reader to find names, dates, places... virtually anything!  The search feature is not foolproof, as the computer is trying to read old type that has already been scanned, but most of the time you will find what you're looking for.
